Kalyn MacKenna Books, 23, of Chetek, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2024 at her home in Chetek. Kalyn was born on April 11, 2001, in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Lance and Stacy Best.

A Celebration of Life for Kalyn will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Chetek Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Chetek Lutheran from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Thursday one hour before the service. She will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery following the service. Please join the family at the church for lunch following the cemetery service.
