Kay Ann Marino age 76, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at her home.

She was born on July 31, 1949, in Rice Lake to Ronald and Vyrle (Hildebrandt) Kopp. Kay graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1967. She was married to John Marino on November 2, 1968.

Kay loved animals and was an excellent pet parent to many cats and dogs over the years as well as supporting multiple animal rescue organizations. She also loved traveling and especially loved taking road trips with John.

Kay is survived by her husband, John, a brother, Ronn Kopp; sisters, Deb (Jeff) Sekanick and Pam (Steve) Kittleson; brother-in-law, Rob Marino; a sister-in-law, Marcia (Brad) Rindlisbacher; nephews, Chris, Bret, Sam, Chad, Mark, Brian, Tom and Mario; nieces, Lisa, Emily and Megan, grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Vyrle Kopp and a sister-in-law, Gen Olson.

Per the wishes of Kay, she did not want any formal services but wanted everyone to remember her in their own way. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kilcoyne Memorial Services 637 N. Main Street Rice Lake, Wisconsin 54868.
