
In Memory of Kelly Jean Eckstrom Stoner
Kelly Jean Eckstrom Stoner, age 64, of Sarona, WI, died Sunday, November 30, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN. She was born on February 27, 1961 in Red Wing, MN to Ralph and JoAnn (Mundle) Eckstrom. Kelly graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1979. She was married to David Stoner on July 14, 1981 in Shell Lake, WI.
Kelly worked for Wright Products in Rice Lake, she owned and operated Kelly’s Body Movements in Shell Lake as an aerobic instructor, and was also a bartender and server at The Getaway for many years. She was very adventurous, riding around the 3 wheeling trike exploring the United States, was a beautiful painter, enjoyed cross country skiing and loved ice fishing in the camper on the Lake of the Woods. She was energetic, artistic, very busy, always happy, always on the go and a very hard worker.
She is survived by her 2 sons, David Stoner Jr and Matthew Stoner; 9 grandchildren, Kailey, Nathan, Colten, Aiden, Daphni, Dalilah, Carmen, Barretta and Eli; her mother, JoAnn Reichert; a sister, Susan (Gary) Larson; a brother, Scott (Jackie) Eckstrom; 2 stepsisters, Rona Johnson and Cindy (Bryan) Thompson; a stepbrother, Scot (Tia) Reichert;many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Amber. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
