In Memory of Larry J. Miller

October 3, 1951 - January 26, 2023

Larry Miller of St. Croix Falls, Wi passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on January 26th, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Michelle, and children Megan, Jade, and Kyle. And his true pride and joy granddaughter Ava.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Blanche Miller, brother Joe, and sister Dorothy, and his best fur child black lab Whitey.

Larry was born in Robbinsdale, MN in 1951 to Raymond and Blanche Miller. He went to tech school to start what would be a lifelong passion of cooking. He married his wife Michelle on December 20th, 1982. In 1984 Larry and Michelle moved to Dresser, Wi. Larry opened Miller’s Café in Downtown St. Croix Falls where he became famous for his breakfast, but especially his secret recipe Pancakes. They eventually moved to Eureka with their children Megan, Jade, and Kyle.

After the restaurant closed Larry worked several places to keep up his love of cooking. His favorite job he would say was watching his granddaughter Ava after she was born. He officially retired in 2014. Larry was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2015, but one thing he never forgot was his love of Neil Diamond. Larry will be remembered for his sense of humor, his willingness to accept everybody and anybody.
