Lawrence 'Larry' E. Hauri, age 84, of Sarona, WI passed away Friday June 18th in his home on Long Lake.

Larry was born on May 19, 1937 to Oscar and Kathryn (Pepper) Hauri.

He grew up in Algonquin IL and graduated from Dundee High School. After high school Larry joined the U.S. Air Force serving four years as an airplane mechanic. He later worked for many years supporting his family as an auto mechanic.

Larry loved fishing especially in retirement on Long Lake in WI. He also enjoyed football, auto racing and movies. He attended Long Lake Lutheran Church where he served for many years and made many friends. Larry was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Larry is survived by daughter: Stacy (Tony; son: Roger (Heather); and daughter-in-law: Tracy; grandchildren: Sebastian, Kevin, Matthew, Nicholas, MicheaIa, Anthony, Pongsula, Isabella, Gabriel, Olivia, Eli and Francesca; and great grandchildren: Maddie and Erik.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Kathryn (Pepper); stepmother: Vera (Block); his wife, Karen and son, Erik.
