In Memory of Lawrence “Larry” Beyreis


October 12, 1941 - December 6, 2023

Lawrence “Larry” Beyreis Age 82, of Chippewa Falls, WI, formerly of Birchwood, WI, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side in Rice Lake, WI on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

He was born on October 12, 1941 in Radisson, WI to Gordon and Miriam (Ortwig) Beyreis.

Larry graduated from Hinsdale High School in Hinsdale, IL in 1960, he attended Vocational School in Industrial Engineering in Chicago and also taught at the school for a few years. He was married to Kathleen “Kathy” Kwiatek on June 13, 1964 in Oak Park, Illinois. They moved to Rice Lake/Campia in 1972-1978, Angus/Birchwood from 1978-2016 and then moved to Chippewa Falls in 2016. He worked for MasterCraft Industries, was self-employed - Kitchens, Inc. and retired from Johnson Truck Bodies in Rice Lake. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching all sports, loved his cars - especially the speed and loved spending time with all of his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 ½ years, Kathleen “Kathy” Beyreis; 3 children, Jeff Beyreis (Debe), Randy (Dawn) Beyreis and Julie (Terry) Schutte; 4 grandchildren, Noah, Brenna, Megan and Taylor; a great grandson, Hudson; his beloved Golden Retriever, Ginger; 3 brothers, Ken (Kathleen) Beyreis, Rich Beyreis and Jim (Rhonda) Beyreis; many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Miriam Beyreis.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Rice Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Elder Mark Graham and Elder Ozro Peck officiating, with a private family interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood. Visitation will be held from 9-11AM Monday at the Church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Little Red Barn Dog Rescue in Rice Lake, WI.
