In Memory of Lawrence N. Dullinger


August 13, 1936 - April 24, 2025

Lawrence Nicholas Dullinger, age 88 of Peoria, AZ and formerly of Trego, WI passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Orange Garden Assisted Living home in Sun City, AZ.

Larry was born August 13, 1936 to Nicholas and Marie (Steinemann) Dullinger in Trego. He attended the Trego grade school and graduated from Spooner High School in 1955. While growing up he worked with his parents at the family’s service station in Trego, then served in the US Air Force from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1961, including four years in Germany.

In 1965 he was united in marriage to Judith Martin in Kenosha, WI, and they made their home in Paddock Lake, WI. For 26 years Larry worked for the US Postal Service as a route carrier in nearby Antioch, IL, retiring in 1993. Upon retirement, Larry moved back to his hometown of Trego, where he enjoyed riding his Harley, going dancing, deer hunting, joining the morning breakfast group at Economart, and playing cards with his family. Larry was active as an usher at St. Francis de Sales Parish, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, a volunteer at the Spooner Nursing Home, and a proud 25-year member of the Spooner Honor Guard. In 2022, he moved to Peoria where he could enjoy spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by one son Jeffrey of Fairchild, WI; six daughters: Marie and Kim of Peoria, AZ, Tina of Phoenix, AZ, Julie of Flagstaff, AZ, Ruth of Prescott, AZ, and Deborah of Wickenburg, AZ; 37 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Albert, and two sisters: Adelle Koel and infant sister Marie.
