Linda Joyce Slayton (nee: Graves)

Born on February 3rd, 1951 to Wesley Emil and Betty Lou Graves (nee: Paulson) in Grantsburg, WI.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Betty, November 1996 and father, Wesley, February 2012; brothers-in-law, Andrew Mattson of Almena, WI and Donald Olsen of Siren, WI and sister, Judith Mattson from Almena, WI.

Linda is survived by her sister, Bonnie Olsen of Siren WI; 2 sons, Daniel Lucas of St. Croix Falls, WI and Joshua Lucas of Grantsburg WI; and her loving husband of nearly 40 years Marvin Slayton of St. Croix Falls WI. Linda also leaves behind two nieces and four grandchildren.

Linda graduated from Grantsburg Senior high and went on to earn a Degree in Accounting.

Linda loved needle point, sewing, knitting, gardening, canning, cooking and baking. She loved spending time with family come the holiday season.

Linda made batches of baked goods for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also enjoyed making dresses for her mother and going to movies with her older son and going to the flea market as well. Now I wonder why they call it a "Flea Market". Linda will be missed by her family and friends. She will be missed for sure. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas.
