Linda Roberta Warner, age 76 of Hayward WI, died Friday, May 15, 2026, at Vita Care in Hayward, WI
Linda Roberta Warner was born on January 1st, 1950, in York PA. The Daughter of George Torbert and Hazel Russell. She grew up in Red Lion Pennsylvania and attended Kennard-Dale school. She married and had 3 children. She later worked at a leather shop where she met Ralph, and they moved to Hayward and had one son together.
While attending church in Cable WI, she met and married Dave who was an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed traveling with him and visiting all the various states. She worked at the Northern lakes Co-Op, Cabaret Cabinetry as a factory worker and housekeeper at Comfort Suites which is now the Holiday Inn, before doing independent cabin cleaning. She loved riding motorcycles and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. She also loved attending the Hayward Wesleyan Church and dedicated her time to various ministries such as cooking for the youth group, speaking with women in jail, and live streaming the church services for other countries to watch. She really loved God.
She is survived by her children, Dallas “JR” Fake, Bonita “Bonnie” Dillon, Peggy (Darren) Harvey and Jacob (Keshia) Isham; 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren; sisters Kay and Shirley; brothers Tom, Timmy, Bobby and Pat; many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents George Torbert and Hazel Russell.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at The Hayward Wesleyan Church with visitation being held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to services.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Sandy Mclaughlin, Kim Metzger, Cyrus Williamson, David Warner.
