Lori Marie Curtis, 69, of Centuria, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota at the age of 69.

Lori was born on March 24, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lowell and Ruth Hoover.

Lori spent most of her time being a homemaker while her kids were young. As they got older, she got a job at Stagehouse Bar, and she also took up selling Avon products. She spent thirteen years there before her and Tom bought their semi-truck and hit the road trucking together out to the east coast and into New Mexico. She spent twelve years on the road with Tom and their two dogs, Sugar Bear and Star before staying home due to some health issues.

Lori loved spending time with family and friends and most recently became overjoyed by the birth of her great-granddaughter, Chloe Hope. That little girl was the apple of her eye. There aren’t enough words to even describe the love she had for her. Lori will be missed by many but especially by her family. She was their strength and they loved her so much.

Lori leaves to celebrate her memory: her husband of 48 years, Tom; daughter, Lisa (Chuck) Heath; granddaughters, Jaylyn (Zach), Heather (Wes) and Hannah (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Waylon, Ryker, Paityn, Liam, Aleeya, and Braylin; and other family and friends.

She was preceded by her parents, Lowell and Ruth Hoover; her son, Jason; great-grandson, Ashton; and her brothers, Vernon, Maynard, and Kenny.

The Funeral Service for Lori will be held at the Wolf Creek United Methodist Church in Wolf Creek, Wisconsin on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Lori will be laid to rest alongside her son Jason at the Wolf Creek Cemetery following the service. All are invited for lunch following the service at Lisa and Chuck’s home, 306 Bank Street, Milltown, WI.

Pallbearers will be Jason Fenton, Jared Lehman, Chris Lehman, Larry Erickson, Steve Gustafson, and Jay Carney.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria, WI has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
