Louise Catherine (Bricher) Adams, 93 of Chetek, passed away peacefully October 2, 2023.

Louise was born January 16, 1930, in Geneva, Illinois to Edward and Margaret Bricher. She graduated from Mount Mary High School in St. Charles, Illinois. Louise married Burness (Bill) Adams on July 2, 1949. They were lifelong dairy farmers first in St. Charles, IL, before moving to Genoa City in 1960 and settling on Adams Aggravation in Chetek in 1980.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Adams.

Louise is survived by her children, Tom (Laurie) Adams of Twin Lakes, Ed (Kathleen) Adams of Genoa City, Helen (Bill) Holder of Pell Lake, Jane Adams of Chetek, Ken (Kathy) Adams of Delavan, Burnie (Brenda) Adams of Chetek, Joyce (Scott) Westlund of Turtle Lake, and Andy (Judy) Adams of Chetek, 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was a wonderful grandmother. Louise enjoyed many things in her life but found the joy in sewing, quilting, and her flower gardens. She also volunteered at her church, St. Boniface and the Chetek Food Pantry.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with visitation held prior beginning at 9:00 AM, the rosary service will take place at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chetek Food Pantry, Chetek Fire & Rescue, or a charity of your choice.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
