Marjorie Ida Lillian Linder (94) joined the Angels in Heaven on March 8, 2021.

Marjorie was born to Tensie and Fritz Olson on August 16, 1926 in West Sweden Township. She spend her childhood there and, after her marriage to Gunnard Linder on July 29, 1944, lived the rest of her life in the Frederic area. She and Gunnard were blessed to celebrate 71 years of marriage. They had four children, Gloria, Gary, Larry and Lorie and later added three daughters to their family, Kathy, Celia and Lillian Wichelmann.

Marjorie's life was devoted to family and to helping others in any way she could. Throughout her adult life she devoted her time to her husband and raising their children. She also had jobs outside of her home, she was employed as a waitress, she worked at Stokely Bean factory, the Dairy Queen, she was a school bus driver, she did the accounting for her husband's business, she was caregiver to her parents and husband, she drove friends to doctor and other appointments and she was involved in her church. Marjorie liked to crochet and made beautiful doilies and other pieces. She loved to garden and preserve what she grew. She was always kind and friendly to all people. She worked hard her whole life and never complained. She was an example to her children of how to be a good parent and she was always there to protect them and help them in whatever way they needed.

Marjorie leaves to mourn her children, Gloria (Jerry) Krueger, Gary (Debra) Linder, Larry (Gloria) Linder, Lorie Linder, Kathy (Stanley) Moe, Celia (Scott) Johnson, Grandchildren Brendon Krueger, Chandra Malmquist, Juanita Lueders, Cody Linder, Zebulon Linder, Micaela Stenner, Jordan Linder, Hannah Fenton, Great-Grandchildren Liam Krueger, Madeline Krueger, Kyle Malmquist, Eli Malmquist, Kenna Stenner, Gage Stenner, Camber Stenner, Aurela Lueders, Krixus Lueders, Sisters Marlette (Donelly) Jensen, Marlene Carlson, Marcella (Merlin) Schmidt, Great-Great Grandson Daniel Krueger, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gunnard, brother Wally and sister-in-law Shirley Olson, sister Marion and brother-in-law Vernon Byl, brother-in-law Roger Carlson, daughter-in-law Laurie Linder, great-granddaughter Bianca Stenner and daughter Lillian Lee.

Marjorie's family thanks the Frederic Nursing home for their devoted care for almost three years. The staff became family to all of us and it gave us comfort to know she was in a safe loving place.

Marjorie will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Cemetery and there will be a family celebration of life at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic.
