January 20, 1942  -  February 28, 2018

Marjorie R. Weissbohn, age 76, of Springbrook, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital. 

Marjorie Ruth was born on January 20, 1942 in Clifton, IL the daughter of Charles and Irene Montgomery.  She graduated from Clifton High School and worked at the Clifton Hospital for five years.  She married Herbert Weissbohn on June 25, 1973 in Kankakee, IL and they moved to Ashkum, IL where she worked for Quaker Oats for 25 years until retiring in May of 1995.  Herbert and Marjorie moved to Wisconsin at the time of their retirement.  Marjorie enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and crocheting.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Herbert; two children, Valerie Hixton of Chebanse, IL, Rusty (Stephannie) Moyer of Clifton, IL; two step children, Mike Weissbohn of Kankakee, IL, Terri (Tony) Naseef of Crescent City, IL; ten grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Montgomery of Leon, IA.

A memorial service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the Hayward Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Bacon officiating.  A time of gathering with family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment will be at a later time in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
