In Memory of Martha "Marty" Jetto
In her lifetime Marty was a devoted wife and mother, full of faith, with a quiet laugh and a bright smile. She passed peacefully with her surviving children and one daughter-in-law at her side on May 9, 2026.
She was born to Joseph (Forest), and Goldie Abel in Evanston, Indiana on April 2, 1937.
She married Robert T. Jetto Sr. on October 12, 1957 and enjoyed 64 years of a loving marriage.
They lived in Mattoon, IL, Belville, IL, Rochester, MN, Cottage Grove, MN, Trego, WI, and Spooner, WI.
Marty retired from 3M company where she was a quality technician in the Automotive division.
Her greatest joys included Rodeo weekend (where her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and associated pets all gathered), playing bridge with friends, playing cribbage and hand and foot with her kids and grandkids, reading, building puzzles and sitting on her deck enjoying the flowers and the wildlife around the homes they owned in Trego and Spooner.
Her home was filled with multiple crafts she had completed, including knitting, crochet, cross stitch items.
She enjoyed giving the grandkids and great grandkids Christmas ornaments that she made or bought at various craft sales. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she had a fondness for Santa Claus figures.
She loved to laugh and as a family we regularly joked about how none of us had any stubborn streaks in us (or that we inherited it from our parents).
She is survived by her son Daniel Jetto and his wife Becky Jetto, her daughter Sharon Anger and her husband Thomas Anger, and Daughter in-law Debbie Jetto. Grandchildren Michael (Liz) Jetto, Aaron Jetto, Joshua (Kara) Jetto, Caleb Jetto, Bethany (Ritchel) Lawson, Kerin (Andrew) Hanson, Dwayne (Jeanne) Unglesbee, Nichol Desmarais, Adam (Lindsay) Unglesbee, Benjamin (Cassie) Fremstad, Tonya Anger-Bond, Lisa Hartsuiker, Derek Hartsuiker. Also survived by 37 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
