In Memory of Marvin Demulling


November 23, 1930 - January 22, 2022

The Lord called the soul of Marvin Demulling home to Heaven on January 22, 2022. Marvin died peacefully at Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frederic, Wisconsin.

He was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Osceola, WI where he was baptized, confirmed, and married.

Marvin was born in East Farmington Township on November 23, 1930. He was raised with three siblings in a very loving German family. He attended Oak Lawn County School through the 8th grade. When he started in the 1st grade, he only spoke German. He spent all of his young life on the family farm. In 1948, Marvin met the love of his life Lois Steffen. They married on November 25, 1950. They were blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, with one more arriving soon in February, and 4 great great grandchildren. Marvin loved his family unconditionally. He always looked forward to and enjoyed the many family gatherings over his lifetime. Martin had a passion for serving the Lord and his church. He served as a church councilman, choir member for many years, and a handyman/groundskeeper. He was a wonderful mentor and role model for his family.

Marvin worked as a farmer and bus driver. He also owned his own retail/wholesale dairy product delivery service from 1955-1985. He continued to be a truck driver for various companies until his retirement. During retirement, he enjoyed camping, woodworking, and mowing lawns with his precious John Deere. He enjoyed attending numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren’s various school and sporting activities. Marvin was rarely found resting. He was always busy using his many talents and gifts.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Ella Demulling; and his sisters, Helen Lamb and Irene Bantz. He is survived by his wife, Lois of 71 beautiful years; children Ron (Brenda) Demulling, Barb (Lee) Williamson, Bill (Barb) Demulling, Rick (Layla) Demulling, Wendy (Mike) Rozmark; and brother, David (Kathy) Demulling. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many more family members and friends.

Blessed be the memory of Marvin. A funeral service and interment will be held at a later date.
