In Memory of Mary A. Mattson


November 11, 1939 - January 2, 2026

Mary Ann Mattson, 86, of Luck, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1939, to Andrew and Margaret (Erickson) Lehman.

Mary was the oldest of ten children, and she graduated from St. Croix Falls High School. She spent much of her life milking cows, which she loved. She also had jobs at Straus Knitting Mill, Northland Church Furniture, Wayne’s IGA, and owned a convenience store in Dresser.

Mary married Glenn Mattson on July 19, 1958. Together, they raised three children, Lorraine, Randy, and Brad. She and Glenn enjoyed camping, fishing, and deer hunting. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, loved gardening, sewing, baking, cooking, and she was known for her large family gatherings.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn; brothers, Robert and Barry Lehman; and sisters-in-law Darlene and Carol Lehman. She is survived by her children, daughter, Lorraine (Charlie) Turner; son, Randy (Kris) Mattson; son, Brad Mattson; sisters, Lucy (Jerry) Beane, Marcy Plomski, Pat (Jim) Linehan and Betty (Duane) Fisk; brothers, Gordy, Roger and Gary Lehman and sisters-in-law, Ellie and Betty Lehman; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (1614 270th Ave, Luck, WI 54853) with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
