Mary F. Benson, age 93 of Clear Lake, WI, died early on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery.

Mary Florence Benson was born on August 15, 1931, in New Haven Township, Dunn County, WI, the daughter of Harold & Annie (Priem) Thomas. She grew up in Weyerhaeuser, WI and attended school there. On July 11, 1949, Mary was married to Robert R. Benson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Together they made their home in Clear Lake, WI, operated a dairy farm there and raised 3 children, Linda, Larry & Roger. In addition to helping on their farm and raising her family, Mary also worked as a cook for the Clear Lake School District for many years. She was an active member of the United Covenant Church in Clear Lake, serving with the ladies aid and teaching Sunday School. Mary was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed watching high school sporting events and spending time with friends and family. Mary was a resident of Golden Age Manor for a short time and will be sorely missed those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Benson; parents, Harold & Annie Thomas; brother, Bert Thomas; Sisters, Roxanne Barthman & Angie Lewis; & son in law, Sam Jentzsch.
