Mary Irene Stauner, 67, of Rice Lake passed away April 20, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health in Eau Claire.

She was born August 28, 1954 in Cumberland, WI to Leo and Lucille (Klingelhoets) Stauner.

She graduated from Barron High School and began working at a a knot shop and made beautiful macramé.

Mary enjoyed spending time outside, collecting Elvis memorabilia, coocoo clocks, and crosses. She especially loved cats and decorating for Christmas. Some of Mary's most cherished memories are of time she spent with her nephews playing in the small sand pile outside of her parents' home

She is survived by her brother, Norman Stauner; sister, Anita (Mark) Bergmann; nephews: George (LeAnn) Wuorenma and William Wuorenma; great nieces and nephews: Lily, Sylvia, Landon, Alex, Kimberly, and Jonathon; and ex-brother-in in law, Randy (Linda) Wuorenma.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland. A private burial will be held at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM.
