In Memory of Mary J. Viebrock
Mary Jean Viebrock (Lundgren) Mary Viebrock, 79 of St. Croix Falls, WI passed away on Monday July 20th, surrounded by love of her immediate family, husband Robert Viebrock, daughter, Yvette Ulisnik; son, Eric Viebrock, and niece, Laureen Williams.
Mary was born to Donald & Ruth (Ione) Lundgren in St. Paul, MN on June 27th 1947.They moved to Dresser, WI after a young Mary had been hit by a city cable car and suffered serious injury. Don and Ione never looked back and continued to raise their 3 daughters in peaceful Dresser, WI. The family worked hard to succeed, and Mary was her Dad’s right hand go getter. Soon Mary was out cutting down trees, clearing land, working alongside the men and more than likely giving them a run for their money.
Mary had several jobs through her high school years, from working in the high school office, taking care of disabled neighbors to being a car hop at Montangs (now the Drive In Taylor Falls). She was introduced to the love of her life at the age of 17 while going with a girlfriend to listen to a small band practice. Bob was singing a Ricky Nelson song “Lonesome town." It was love at first sight.
Mary and Bob were married on September 18th, 1965. They were married for 61 years and still in love. From their reunion, they had two children, Yvette (Brett) Ulisnik and Eric (Jessica) Viebrock.
Mary was greeted in Heaven by her parents, Donald & Ione Lundgren; sister, Carol Wyman and sister, Nancy Karis, as well as her In-laws, Marvin and Margaret Viebrock.
Mary’s wonderful legacy will continue on by her husband, Robert (Bob); daughter, Yvette (Brett) Ulisnik; grandson, Austin Ulisnik and great granddaughter, Amelia; grandson, Daniel (Caroline) Ulisnik; son, Eric (Jessica) Viebrock; grandson, Joshua Viebrock; granddaughter Hannah Viebrock; great granddaughter, Laina and great grandson Nico; grandson, Jacob Viebrock; brothers-in-law, Gordon Wyman, Jerry (Nancy) Viebrock and many nieces and nephews.
Mary’s faith and family meant the world to her. In true Mary fashion if you need a smile or a hug today, please feel free to take a moment and think of her. She will gladly give you one of hers. Rest in peace Mary Jean Viebrock, you left some very big shoes to fill.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made to St. Croix Hospice in her name. (107 E. Oak Street Suite 100, Frederic, WI 54837).
