Merlin "Jake" or "Sonny" Robert Jacobs, 80, of Shell Lake died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Glenview Assisted Living Center.

He was born February 15, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Merlin and Vera (Hanley) Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake with Sue Odegard officiating. Burial will be in Shell Lake Cemetery immediately following. Military honors accorded by the Shell Lake Honor Guard. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
