Michael Henry Ryan, 73, of Shell Lake died, July 29, 2022, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1949, in Detroit, MI to Henry and Patricia (Houle) Ryan.

Michael was a talented woodworker. He also enjoyed collecting stamps, comic books, coins, and keeping his lawn in pristine condition.

He is survived by his son, Nathan Ryan; daughters: Danielle Ryan and Nicole (Shane) Baker; grandchildren: Byron, Henry, and Drew Baker, and Marshall Merrill; former spouse, Elaine Furchtenicht; siblings: Tim Ryan, Mark Ryan, Terri Jo Mosley, Karen Stancombe, Kathleen Ryan, Renee Ryan, and Rochelle Prowse; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a visitation at 1 PM followed by a memorial service at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake.
