In Memory of Michelle L. Bina (Turnipseed)
Michelle Louise Bina (Turnipseed), passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 51 in Chetek, Wisconsin. Born on January 19, 1973, in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Michelle's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
Michelle was a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School in 1991. She furthered her education at Madison Area Technical College, where she trained to become a dental hygienist. Her professional journey as a dental hygienist was more than a job for Michelle; it was a calling. She nurtured relationships with her patients and served her community with a selfless heart, always striving to make each visit a comfortable and positive experience.
At the heart of Michelle's world was her family. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Brandon Prisk, Hannah (fiancé Josh) Turnipseed, and Bennett Turnipseed, who were the pride and joy of her life. Michelle's love extended to her parents Pam (Russ) Hartwig and Richard (Mary) Bina, her siblings Jon (Sarah) Bina, Liz (Nick) Bakken, Suzanne (Connor) Agnew, her nephews and niece Kory Bina and Cameron and Mia Bakken and grandmothers Margery Green and Mary Bina. Michelle was also loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her maternal and paternal grandfathers, as well as her godparents Jerry and Daffy Bina.
Michelle's love for her family shone the brightest during the holidays, a time she cherished for the opportunity to decorate and create a festive atmosphere for her loved ones. Her home was often the gathering place where memories were made, and laughter filled the room.
Her personal interests reflected her nurturing disposition. Michelle's dogs, Murphy, Wilby, and Brody, were her constant companions, and she found great joy in their wagging tails and unconditional affection. Michelle's life was characterized by a passion that extended to all her endeavors, from her love of family to her care for her furry friends.
Michelle's passing leaves a lasting void in the lives of her family and friends. Yet, they take comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire them. As they face the world without her physical presence, they will hold dear the memories and love she shared so freely.
As the chapters of Michelle's life come to a close, those who loved her will gather in remembrance, cherishing the time they had with an extraordinary woman whose life was a testament to the beauty of a generous and caring soul. Michelle's story is not one of sorrow but a celebration of a life well-lived and a woman dearly loved.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. A celebration of Michelle’s life with a light meal will follow from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Dugout in Fort Atkinson.
