Myrna A. Cottor (Springer), age 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by family, in East Farmington (Osceola), WI.

Myrna was born the daughter of Leo and Martha (Potting) Springer on September 20, 1928, in East Farmington, WI.

Myrna met her future husband, Robert at a dance in Plourdes Bar, in Somerset, WI. She married Robert Cottor at Assumption Catholic Church, in East Farmington, on July 29, 1950. After their wedding they rented the Germain farm in Somerset. On May 1, 1953, they bought their farm in East Farmington, where they resided until her death. They attended Assumption Catholic Church in East Farmington.

Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Leo and Martha Springer; siblings, Margaret known as Peg (Ed Darveaux), Harvey (Mary Jane), Ferdinand (Lenore), Ronald (surviving spouse Rosemary); and granddaughter, Deanna.

Myrna is survived by son, Richard (Kathy); daughter, Donna (friend Edward Handrahan); son, Daniel (Donna); and son, Gary; grandchildren, Kristin (Casey Kelly), Richard Jr, Kahlyn, Danielle (Dan Loney), Donita, and Alex (Ashley); great grandchildren, Sara and Mia; sister, Regina; sister-in-law, Rosemary; also, her beloved animals Felix, Flossy and Brutus.

Memorials will be donated to Alzheimer’s Association and Lakeview Hospice.

A visitation will take place at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Assumption Catholic Church in East Farmington, WI with visitation one hour prior to mass.
