Nelson J. Barber Sr., age 57, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI died Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his home.

Nelson Joseph Barber was born July 9, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Franklin Barber and Neva Delapast. He attended school in Minneapolis. After graduating he attended welding school then became an electrician for LCO Development.

He is survived by his sons Nelson Barber Jr., Nicholas Barber, Jack Barber; daughter Kristy Barber; girlfriend Trish Trepania; brothers Philip “Sonny Man” Delpast, Brian Delapast, William “Lee” Barber, Steve Barber & Bill Barber; sister Becky Lewis & Ann (Tod) Hart; many nephews, nieces & cousins.

Nelson was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Barber; parents Franklin & Neva; and brother Frankie Barber.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at St. Francis Cemetery in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers will be Dan Barber, Rusty Barber, Terry Barber, Jeff Bigwell, Scott Guibord, Myron Lemieux and Roger Mustache Jr.      

Casket bearers will be Timothy Barber, Dwayne Belille, Kyle Gougé, Jordan Hugo, Leroy Mustache and Cody Potack.
