In Memory of Pat Lillyblad

March 21, 1947 - July 27, 2022

Pat Lillyblad Age 75, of Birchwood, WI, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pat was born on March 21, 1947 to Charles and Charleen Winburn in Richmond, Kentucky.

There are many cherished memories of family time in Kentucky. Her family moved to Arizona where she would graduate high school in Flagstaff. She and Breck met when she was a junior in high school and were married 2 years later in 1965. They had 2 girls in the next 5 years and lived in several places throughout Arizona before opening an antique store in Flagstaff. In 1974, they moved to Wisconsin so that Breck could work at the family’s manufacturing business. Pat became very involved with the community by joining Newcomers, Fortnightly, Curling, Golf and starting up a Bridge group. She was very active with her girls being an amazing room mother at school, a Brownie leader and supporting them through all of their sports, activities and interests. Once her daughters were older she decided to carry on her passion for antiques by partnering with Nutmeg Antiques and Gifts in Rice Lake and having a booth in an antique mall near Hayward. She had another dream of having a store where she would sell things she loved, so she opened Moongate in Rice Lake in 2004. In 2007, she trained and worked alongside her daughter, Krista until Pat decided to retire in 2017. Krista continues to keep Pat’s dream alive at Moongate. Arizona always being close to their hearts, Pat and Breck wintered there off and on throughout the last 25 years where they were also able to enjoy time with their daughter Kimberly. Pat was very talented and had many interests. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge, puzzles, decorating, thrifting, gardening, sewing, traveling, and dancing to name a few. She also loved and was much loved by animals and rescued numerous cats and dogs throughout her life. She and Breck were also part of a cherished group of friends that got together once a month for “Gourmet”, where they would take turns preparing a wonderful menu, make food and break bread together. Pat has many cherished friends from bridge, gourmet and other areas of her life.

Survived by her husband Breck, daughters Krista (Rusty), and Kimberly, brother Joel (Cathy) Winburn, sister Jill (Ed) Winburn-Brandt, brother in-laws Bruce (Joni) and Steve Lillyblad, nieces and nephews, Natalie, Eric, Mike, Scott, Sara, Suzie, Jessica, Allyson, Jerrin, Justin and Caitlin.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Steve Winburn, sister Susie Winburn, infant brother Johnny, mother and father in-law, 3 sister in-laws Sandy Winburn, Janice & Janet Lillyblad, nephew Bob Lillyblad.
