Patricia Gayle Puig, age 67 of Barron, passed away on Friday March 7, 2025 at Barron Care and Rehab in Barron.

She was born on June 27, 1957 in Hudson, the daughter of Gale and Tabea (Foss) Heffron.  She grew up there and graduated from Hudson High School.

Patti worked as a beautician for a few years. After moving to Barron, she worked as a black jack dealer at the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake for many years, retiring in 2010.

Bob met Patti in 1993 and they were married February 3, 1999 in Barron.

Patti enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and playing fantasy football. She loved going to the casino. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Patti is survived by her husband, Robert Puig of Barron; step-sons, Joshua (Sheena) Puig of Turtle Lake and Travis (Emilie) Puig of Wausau; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Les (Deb) Heffron of Pittsburgh, PA, Brad (Julie) Heffron of Grand Rapids, MI and Al (Karla) Heffron of Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life for Patti will be held on Sunday, March 23 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Chetek Lanes located at 695 County Highway SS.
