Patricia Jayne Slater, age 78, of Amery, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Dove Healthcare in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Pat was born on November 5, 1946 to Ralph and Eleanor (Culver) Bircher in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She graduated from Dayton High School. Pat married Terry Slater in 1962 and was blessed with two children, Troy and Nathan. Pat worked for Amery High School driving bus for many years.

Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, motorcycle and morel mushroom hunting. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Pat is survived by her son, Troy (Laurie); grandchildren, Terri (Dakota) Hubbard and Joseph Slater; great-grandchildren, Memphis and Kipling Wisen; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; son, Nathan; granddaughter, Shannon Wisen; brothers, David, Leonard and John; sister, Lynn.

Visitation will be April 18, 2025 from 4-7PM at Grandstrand Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Osceola.
