Patricia “Pat” Anne Durand, age 93, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, January 2, 2026 in LaCrosse, WI. She was born on December 30, 1932 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Harry and Marguerite (Schau) Weiler.

Pat graduated from Spooner, WI High School in 1951. She was married to Charles Durand on September 25, 1951 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Pat worked for Erickson’s, Farm and Fleet, WJMC and Lyman Lumber for many years as a secretary.

Pat was a 4H Leader, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and could solve any project no matter whatever it was.

She is survived by 3 sons, Michael (Judy) Durand of Haines, AK, Dale (Rita) Durand of Naples, FL and Bruce Durand of Bloomer, WI; 5 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Prescott; 2 brothers, Dick McGill and Bob (Alicia) McGill; a half sister, Terrill Gilbert; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Durand; her parents, Harry Weiler and Marguerite Schau McGill; and a brother, Jim McGill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, WI, Father Adam Laski officiating, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Rice Lake.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church.
