Woods, waters, rocky ridges

My Wisconsin home

Scenic, verdant, snowy hills

Often I would roam

Away in the trees

Dark woods… oh, so quiet

Soft rustles, chirps, yips

Then… tumultuous riot

Now, across one more bridge

Earthly life is over

There will be one more ridge

Birds, trees, wildlife, clover
