Patricia Sweeney, age 88, of Rice Lake, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Our House Memory Care in Rice Lake.

Patricia was born on April 15, 1936 to Berthold and Myrtle Mohwinkel in St. Paul, Minnesota. She grew up and graduated in St. Paul. She was a message therapist, CNA and housekeeper. She worked 17 years in customer service at the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake.

She treated everyone like they were her children.

She is survived by her son, Gregory (Julie) Secor of Wyoming, MN; daughters, Renee Chisholm of Ramsey, MN and Lori (Ron) Frost of White Bear Lake Township, MN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as a sister, JoAnn Goodman of LeVerne, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Julie Fitzgerald; son, Bryan Secor; and a brother, Joe Engle.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date
