Ralph T. Buchholtz, 82, of Spooner passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at The Maple Ridge Care Center in Spooner. 

Ralph was born on November 3, 1934 to Otto and Eunice (Weber) Buchholtz in Dunn County, Wisconsin.  He attended school in Dunville, and served in The Army Air Force.  Ralph married Velma Rose Hawes on June 25, 1994 in Lewis, WI.  He was an iron worker, after his military service, building bridges while working for L. G. Arnold.  He then worked at Uniroyal until his retirement.  Ralph enjoyed; fishing, playing cards, pool, and hunting, anything in the out-of-doors.  He also liked to watch all sports, and especially loved Gunsmoke, and other westerns.

Ralph is survived by: his wife, Velma of Spooner, five children; Scott (Nicole) Buchholtz of Chippewa Falls, WI, Brian (Jane) Buchholtz of Bloomer, WI, Todd Buchholtz of Valley View, TX, Carol (Bob) Silvernail of Krum, TX and Carmen (Tim) Moen of MO, two step-children, Mary (Pat) Rudd of Elk Mound, MN, and Michael White of Tucson, AZ, one sister, Carol Kern of Durand, WI and one sister-in-law, Myrna Buchholtz of Durand, WI.  He was preceded by; his parents, three brothers, Jack, Bob, and Charlie, and one step-son, David White. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2 until 5 pm at The Wascott Town Hall.  Arrangements were entrusted to The Spooner Funeral Home.
