Randy was born to William (Bill) and Ardell Goglin on September 25, 1957 in Amery, WI. He attended Wagon Landing School and when that closed in 1972, he attended the Amery Schools. On September 10, 1994, he was united in marriage to Stephanie Rawlings and to this union their son Josh Goglin was born in 1996. In October of 2003, he lost his wife in a car accident.
Randy grew up on the family farm where he spent his lifetime farming beside his dad and then later working for neighboring farms. He was President and huge supporter of the Polk County Sportsman’s Club where he dedicated his talents of hunting, fishing, and fundraising. You would also find him behind the grills at the Polk County Fair each year cooking brats for the Club. Randy also helped with organizing the annual Disabled Deer and Bear Hunt event. He had a passion for cooking and he shared his delicious dishes and recipes with many of his friends and family. He had the utmost love for any and every animal, whether on the farm or in the home. Randy loved to socialize and strike up a friendly conversation with anyone in person or on social media. He was always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed help or just do things for others as he had the biggest, kindest, and generous heart. Despite his health, he still put others first and found the utmost joy in making others happy. He had little but gave big. He was so appreciative of everything, and he let others know it.
