July 1, 1959 - May 16, 2017

Randy Mark Zimmerman, 57, of Sarona died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was born July 1, 1959 in Shell Lake, WI to Marcus and Marthy (Minkel) Zimmerman. He graduated from Spooner High School in 1977, and from the Wood Tech Program at WITC in 1979. After school, he worked for Bob Kruger Construction, then branched out on his own to operate Zimmerman Construction. Randy took great pride in the homes he built. He loved to hunt and fish and tell a good story. He was known to spoil his labradors. Randy also loved to climb the Colorado mountains while hunting Elk.

He is survived by sisters: Janet Zimmerman of Sarona, Dorie Magnus of Sarona, and Linda (Randy) Myers of Rice Lake; brothers: Ken and Ted Zimmerman of Spooner; his special friend Content Weber and her children: Miranda, Ashley, Ariana and Levi; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and his many friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald; brother-in-law, William Magnus and sister-in-law, Lu Zimmerman. 

A celebration of Randy's life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Skinner Funeral Home-Shell Lake with Father Bala Showry officiating. Burial will be in Sarona Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
