Richard C. Schmaltz, 92, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Joy Lutheran Church in Centuria. Pastor Angie Kutney will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Following the service, the family invites their guests to join them in the fellowship hall for lunch and continued visitation.

He will be laid to rest at Fristad Cemetery in the future, with full military honors.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Joy Lutheran Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria, Wisconsin.
