Richard Mervin St. John, age 82, of Frederic, Wisconsin passed away on October 11, 2025.

Richard was born in Superior, Wisconsin to his parents, Roy and Leona (Johnsen) St. John. He attended school in Superior, and in 1961 he enlisted in the Army. After his discharge in 1964, he lived in many places throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin and even spent some time in Iowa and Las Vegas. During these years, Richard had 5 children.

Richard drove truck most of his life until he had to retire because of health issues. He spent his later years enjoying the outdoors—especially hunting and fishing.

Richard lived his life on his terms.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David, Michael and Ed; son, Richard; and daughter, Kelly. He is survived by his son, Andrew (Jennifer); daughters, Leona and Debra; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Sharron St. John.
