In Memory of Robert B. Doherty

December 1, 1939 - August 10, 2023

On August 10, 2023, the world lost a lovely soul, Robert B. Doherty (Bob, Bobby, Uncle Bob) after 83 glorious years.

Bob grew up in Camden, New Jersey. He spent his adult years in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and his golden years in Siren, Wisconsin. Bob loved to design and run his Lionel model train set, loved cold beer and watching movies. He loved listening to Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, going to garage sales, and sitting on the porch on a nice day and loved his friends and family.

We are so thankful for Siren’s own “Welcome Home Quality Care” and their amazing staff and residents for providing Bob with such a loving home, excellent care and friendship for the past 9 years. Their dedication to their residents went beyond what one would expect from an adult family home. Our family hopes this amazing resource for Burnett County’s neurodiverse community will continue to thrive. He had the best life. He was loved. He loved us. Cheers to you Robert!

A private family service will be held to remember Bob.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
