
In Memory of Robert (Bob) C. Peper
Robert (Bob) Charles Peper passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at Eagle Ridge Memory Care in Osceola, Wisconsin, after a courageous battle with advanced Alzheimer’s disease. Bob was 81 years old. Born on January 30, 1944, in Napoleon, Ohio, Bob was the cherished son of Robert B. Peper and Ann Wilscam Peper.
Bob graduated from Holgate High School in Ohio and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. His profound calling led him to the Hamma School of Theology in Ohio, where he received his Master of Divinity degree and became an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Bob further attained a law degree from Toledo University College of Law in Ohio and became a respected member of the American Bar Association.
Throughout his career, Bob served with devotion in various capacities, including roles with the national ELCA church in Minneapolis, California Lutheran University, and California Lutheran Homes in Southern California. His commitment to service and faith profoundly impacted the lives of many.
Bob's hobbies included collecting uranium Vaseline antique glass and he owned an extensive library of books on glass. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring old tools especially saws. Another interest was travel to many foreign countries where he was always looking for that rare glass piece.
Bob is survived by Janet, his beloved wife of 59 years, his daughter Kelly Hibbs (Jordon) of Frederic, WI, and sons Robert Carl (Minnah) of Phoenix, AZ, and Mike of Luck, WI. He was a loving grandfather to Merlin Hibbs, Britta Allgyer, Tahlia, Sienah, and Chayse Peper. Bob is also survived by his brothers, Jim and Tom Peper.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at his family home, located at 2161 East Round Lake Lane, Luck, WI, beginning at noon on June 21, 2025. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in commemorating and celebrating Bob’s extraordinary life and legacy.
