In Memory of Robert 'Bob' Stanke


April 19, 1947 - February 22, 2024

Robert “Bob” Leo Stanke.

A resident of Clayton, WI, born April 19 1947, passed away on February 22, 2024 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 76.

Bob was raised in Roseville, MN and was a graduate of Mounds View High School home of the Mighty Mighty Mustangs.

He served in the US army as a Medic as well as a Mechanic in the Motor Pool. After returning home, he married Anita DelCastillo. They had two gorgeous girls and moved to St. Paul, MN.

A born farmer, Bob and his family moved to Hammond, WI to their first farm then to a larger farm after a few years where he purchased dairy cows and started The Stanke Dairy. He continued to farm until moving to Clayton, WI, his final home.

His hobbies included tinkering on machinery, chatting with the neighbors, going to the casino and sitting in the garage petting the cat while enjoying the day.

Bob is survived by his wife, Anita DelCastillo and daughters Maria Stanke (Jim), Tina Michalec (Jaime) and grandson Robert Michalec (Angel).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dolly Stanke and brothers Phil “Butch” Hadammek and Darryl “Shorty” Hadammek.

Bob will be missed by many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A private ceremony an Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
