Robert “Bob” John Miller, age 70, of Barron, passed away at North Memorial Hospital on September 18, 2024.

Robert was part of the Barron Fire Department for 32 years. He was a cherished grandpa and great-grandpa.

Robert leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Anne; son, Robert “Fred” (Doreen) Miller; daughters, Sara and Brigitte Miller; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathryn Miller and Lalee Zabel; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Elaine Miller; and daughter, Carrie Miller.

A memorial service for Bob will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Barron. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday morning. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
