Roberta A. Knapp, age 83, of Frederic, passed away on August 14, 2024 while residing at Frederic Nursing and Rehab. Roberta was previously a resident of the Cumberland/Comstock area for 28 years, living her best life with her staff at Aurora Residential, who became like family to her.

Roberta was born to Robert and Anna Mae Knapp on October 3, 1940. She attended school in Amery and graduated in 1958. Following high school, Roberta spent many years traveling with family, playing piano, was an avid cross country skier and deeply enjoyed card games. She was a master of cribbage, knocking the socks off of opponents. She was a lover of animals of all kinds, especially cats. Roberta is survived by her sister in law: Virginia Knapp of Inver Grove Heights, MN. Nieces: Leah, Tracy and Rose and close friend Barb Kass (Mike Miles) of Luck, WI.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; Mother, Anna Mae and her brother, Douglas.

The family would like to thank Frederic Nursing and Rehab along with St Croix Hospice for their care.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 5:30 pm at the Williamson-White Funeral Home, 222 Harriman Ave N, in Amery, WI. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 5 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
