Roger Alan Rick, age 65, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, November 21, 2025 in Weston, WI.

He was born on January 9, 1960 in Macomb, Illinois to Victor and Josephine (Mosier) Rick. Roger graduated from Dixon High School in 1978 in Dixon, Illinois. He was married to Julie Harshbarger on December 5, 1987 in Dixon, Illinois. They moved to Rice Lake, WI in 1993.

Roger worked for Marketplace Foods in Rice Lake as a front end manager for 23 years and also worked for Walmart as an Electronic Associate for 3 years. Roger was a musician and loved playing bass; he enjoyed fishing and having long conversations with his children on the phone and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.

Roger was a funny guy, had a great sense of humor, a kind and smart man, and he was a very loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Julie Rick; 4 children, Michelle (Jon) Westrum, Timothy Rick (Kyndell), Kristin Callow Karras and Justin (Sarah) Callow; 9 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Eugene (Mardell) Rick, Tom (Sue) Rick and Dan (Pam) Rick; a sister, Vicky (Rob) Orr; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Josephine Rick; and a brother, Gary Rick.

A celebration of his life will be held from 2-5PM Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Rice Lake Moose Lodge, Rev. Alan Klasi officiating.
