In Memory of Roger D. Seemann
Roger Dale Seemann, 69, of Almena, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 28, 2025.
Roger was born in Cumberland, and graduated from Barron High School in 1974. He farmed with his dad for several years before working for many years as a mechanic at Farmers Union in Barron. He later worked at a shop in Almena and, in more recent years, helped his brother-in-law by running cars.
Roger was one of the kindest and most genuine people you could ever meet. He was gentle, caring, and honest, and was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand. He had many friends, and you would never hear a bad word spoken about him.
Roger loved his cats and enjoyed deer hunting, working on cars and small engines, and collecting old oil cans and vintage signs.
He is survived by his sisters, Carol Rischette, Linda Baxter, and Sharon Charter; his brothers, Todd (Bonnie) Seemann and Gary (LuAnn) Seemann; many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Daniel Seemann.
Roger will be remembered for his big heart, his easy smile, and the warmth and laughter he brought into every room.
Funeral services for Roger will be held on Wednesday, November 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gospel Mennonite Church in Almena.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.
