Roger I. Berg, age 81, of Osceola, WI died peacefully Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born June 5, 1943 to parents Willard and Olga (nee Johnson) Berg.

Roger was a long-time employee of Burlington Northern Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On August 27, 1988 he married Joan (Dorle) on their farm in Osceola. He had a profound love of horses throughout his life and enjoyed trail riding and carriage driving. He shared his love of horses with many people. He will be missed by many family and friends.

Roger is survived by his wife, Joan Dorle Berg; stepchildren, Aaron (Maura) Keller, and Tesha Distad; sister, Pat (Lester) Mortenson; grandchildren, Maria, Ryan, Charlie, Oliver, and Haven; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Barb), Todd (Shelly), Lee (Mary), Penny, and Nicole; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life for Roger will be held 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Dalles House in St. Croix Falls, WI.
