Ronald Garfield Harland, age 82, of Fayetteville Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home in the evening hours on June 15, 2026.

Ronald was born on May 14, 1944, and was preceded in death by his wife, Krystyna Janina Brykinski; parents, Eugene and Violet (Shaw) Harland; brother, Clifford Harland; brother-in-law, Arnold Carr; and sister-in-law, Cindy Harland.

He attended Turtle Lake High School before proudly serving the United States Navy for four years as a communication tech.

His first job after the Navy was with Univac in the Twin Cities. He then went to work for H.B. Fuller Co and was transferred to Pennsylvania, then to Montreal, Canada. After that, he retired and moved to Fayetteville Arkansas.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Leanna (Harland) Fitysimmons. He leaves behind three grandchildren; siblings, Donald Harland, Joyce Harland, Janice Carr, Jeffrey (Annette) Harland, Kathy Harland; and nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Skinner Funeral Home, Turtle Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be a Bethany Cemetery.
