Ronald William "Ron" Catlin, age 75, of Comstock passed on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born December 23, 1949 in Cumberland, WI to Silas "Bill" William and Marie Helen (Hanson) Catlin.

Ron was a quiet and simple man who was quick to help in a time of need. He had a lifelong commitment to dairy farming, and enjoyed listening to sports - (primarily the Twins and Vikings, but he could cheer on any team, really!). He enjoyed spending time with his relatives. Ron also loved hearing stories from his buddies, Brian, Big John and Little Charlie. Additionally, he enjoyed snacking on his nightly popcorn, or bowl of ice cream.

He is survived by siblings, Bonnie (Mike) Davison, of Grand Junction, CO, Sherry Prokop, of Hudson, James (Lori) Catlin, of Comstock and Diane (Tim) Johnson, of Amery; sister-in-law, Judy Catlin, of Comstock; nieces and nephews, Chad, Aaron, and Bryan Catlin, Casey (Jenny) Catlin, Kelly (Jacob) Nadeau, and Marissa and Maxwell Johnson; and great nephews, Carson and Cole Catlin.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Silas “Bill” and Marie (Hanson) Catlin; brother, Gene Catlin; and infant sister, Sharon Catlin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday January 25, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church - Pipe Lake with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Donny Sundvall, Noah Greene, Henry Soldner, Luke Soldner, Brian Hansen, John Soldner, and Colton Jansen.

Visitation will be held one hour prior at church.
