Rose Marie (Pinotti) Schullo, 74, of Cumberland, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Cumberland Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 19th, 1951, in St. Paul, MN to Thomas and Beatrice (Percy) Pinotti. Rose grew up in St. Paul and graduated from St. Bernard's Catholic High School. She married Michael John Schullo on September 25th, 1971, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in St. Paul. In 1976, the two began their own dairy farm and raised a new family near 3 generations of family. Shortly after, Rose began volunteering as a religious education teacher at her local church, beginning a lifelong dedication to ministry and teaching.

Rose later served as Director of Religious Education (DRE) at St. Anthony the Abbot in Cumberland, WI for seven years, and went on to serve as DRE at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, WI for 18 years.

Rose was awarded the Fr. Harold Dodge Award for Excellence in the Ministry of Catechetics from the Diocese of Superior for her commitment to faith and those she taught. Rose truly embodied the heart of her mission-she loved to teach, to share her faith, and found great joy in the energy and curiosity of her students and the many teachers and volunteers who made it possible.

In her free time Rose enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and coming up with inventive ways to entertain her family and grandchildren. Above all, Rose cherished time spent with her family and took pride in creating meaningful time together. Thank you, Nona!

Whether we called her daughter, sister, sis, Cookie, wife, mom, Nona, aunt, friend or colleague we have been forever changed by her love. "Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
