RoseAnn “Moka Azhwinokwe” (meaning Spring Water) Ramsey, of Hayward, passed away peacefully at her home on September 30, 2025. She was born September 17, 1958, in Hayward, WI to Ray and Violet (Miller) Tripp.

Rosie loved to spend time outside fishing with her niece Michelle Nickence, gathering berries and medicinal herbs. She was a fourth degree member of the Midewin Society. She enjoyed beading and loved teaching.

Rosie will be deeply missed; especially by her dear friend, Beverly Nalewaja.

She is survived by her sons, who were her whole world: Korwin Rice, Tripp Krouse, and Nicholas Baker; nephew, Michael Cress; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vinnie Cress; and brothers.

Funeral feast will begin at 10 AM Friday, October 3, 2025, with services to follow at Round Lake Community Center at 2222 60th St. Luck, WI. Pallbearers are Ethan Frisinger, Mike Cress, Adrian Nickence, Brandon Abeita, and Tripp Krouse. Honorary pallbearers are Angie Jones, Destiny Lowe, Donna Merrill, Beverly Nalewaja, and Susan Lowe. Visitation and feast will begin at 5 PM Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Round Lake Community Center in Luck.
