Roy E. Petersen, age 61, a resident of Woodbury, MN passed away on October 28, 2021.

Roy was born on December 13, 1959 in Royal Oak, MI to Howard and Shirley Petersen.

He was a 1978 graduate of Siren High School. He spent over 40 years working for Holiday Companies. His free time was spent hunting, fishing, boating, watching baseball, cooking and playing golf. His most favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Roy will be sadly missed by his children, Brent (Jessica McCain)Petersen; Nicole (Jeff Heroff) Petersen; his grandchildren, Kaiden Roy Petersen, Sophia Nivelo, Winter Petersen, Kennedy Heroff, and Bryce Petersen; his step grandchildren, Mason Nusberger and Kayden Nusberger; brothers, Howard Petersen and Paul Petersen; his sister, Janal (Stacy Kelly) Petersen; nieces, Sydney; nephews, Eric, Neil, and Wyatt; along with his great nephew, Charlie; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM (visitation 2-3 PM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren.
