Rudolph Gene Tudjen, age 78, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Oak Lawn, IL.

Rudy was born, March 5, 1946, the son of Rudolph George Tudjen and Delores Gordon. He was a 30-year Army Veteran, including a tour in South Vietnam, from August 1969-1970. For over 20 years, he had been employed as an Army Reserve Technician. Rudy was an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe.

He is survived by his loving wife Liz Harville-Tudjen; granddaughter Alexis Ann Marie and Great-Grandson Greyson; loving niece Chuxie Barrows and her children Owen, Zoe, Harlie & Elias; and his daughters Carla, Trina, Tami and Kimberly; stepsons Kevin and Keith and stepdaughter Bonnie (Eric) and their children, Justin, Allie and Cooper. Liz’s grandchildren were a source of love.

Rudy was preceded in death by his only son Timothy Lee; and dear friends Cathy Hastings & Lily Redini.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Francis Cemetery in Reserve, where he will be buried beside his grandmother.
