In Memory of Sandra Pederson


July 21, 1943 - February 13, 2019

Sandra K. Pederson, age 75, formerly of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home in Barnes, WI.  She was born July 21, 1943 in Eleva, WI the daughter of Phillip and Marjorie (Semingson) Tollefson.  On October 14, 1961, Sandra married the love of her life David Larry Pederson at the Eleva Lutheran Church in Eleva, WI.

Sandra was positive, energetic, and a gifted conversationalist which made her the life of the party and won the hearts of those she met. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed the many friendships the game brought her way. She even had her own celebratory fist pump followed by a “Yeah, baby!” that would have made Tiger Woods envious. Sandra enjoyed playing softball throughout her twenties and thirties and she joined several bowling leagues throughout the years.  She also loved cooking, gardening, fishing, and above all else, Sandra loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, David of Barnes, WI; her children, Michael (Marlene) Pederson of Eau Claire, WI, Michelle Pederson of Holmen, WI, David Pederson Jr. of Barnes, WI and Patti (Brad Olson) Pederson of Blaine, MN; her grandchildren, Kelly (Brandon) Brenny, John Pederson, Parker and Payton Olson; great-granddaughter, Olivia Brenny; her sisters, Diane (Rick) Lewison of Baraboo, WI and Vicki (John) Dzurko of Milwaukee, WI; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, Dale Tollefson.

A Celebration of life service will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on May 18, 2019 at the Barnes VFW, 52325 Lake Road in Barnes, WI.  Interment will be held privately. 

The family would like to thank Regional Hospice for their generous care and compassion shown to Sandra and the Pederson family during her time under their care.
